...

o Google, Infomercials And The Billion Channel Internet

As usual, when I feel strongly about a marketing method
or product - I write an article about it. This article
will explain why I think online videos/infomercials will
be so important to websites.

Learn how and why using video and infomercials can be
a smart marketing move for any company, business or
online website.

Read the article here:

Very recently, Google within its Adsense advertising program,
introduced video ads to the world wide web. Companies,
businesses and advertisers now have the option of using
online video ads to sell their products and attract potential
clients.

In addition to text and image ads, advertisers can now
place video ads on participating websites throughout
the web. These video ads will be offered in three formats:
Medium Rectangle (300 X 250), Large Rectangle (336 X 280),
and Square (250 X 250). Those websites or webmasters
participating in the Adsense program will be paid in
two ways: contextually-targeted ads on a cost-per-click
basis or site-targeted ads on a cost-per-thousand-impression
basis.

The video ads will be displayed on the websites in a
static state, if the visitor clicks the ad the video
will play once within the allowed space - you can click
replay to repeat the ad. You can also click the displayed
URL or ad to go to the advertisers's website.

In short, Google has brought commercials to the web.

Google video ads may play a significant role in the whole
web marketing process. Giving visitors the option of hearing
the advertiser's sales pitch/messages without leaving the
host website. In our fast paced, hurried world this may
be a welcomed addition to any website. You can learn more
about Google video ads here: https://adwords.google.com

At first glance, this move by Google into video ads may
seem like only the next logical step in the online
advertising process, just another way to better serve
their patrons. However, in a broader context, these video
ads may prove to have much more significance for the
world wide web.

Video ads will no doubt prove to be another stepping stone
in the gradual evolution of the web into a Billion Channel
Universe. Helping to turn each website on the web into
an information channel - much more similar to a TV channel
than a webpage. And much more aligned with infomercials than
commercials.

Nothing stays the same, not even the web.

As downloading times decrease and video clips/streaming
becomes the rule rather than the exception, all websites
will be turned into information channels. Highly targeted
interactive channels providing or serving up the one thing
that matters most on the web - information.

When the introduction of RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
and the rapid proliferation of wireless services and devices
around the globe; one may even argue the rudimentary
groundwork or framework for a billion channel network
already exists and already broadcasting their messages
or signals out to all interested parties.

Depending on your point of view, this can conjure up
a frightening image... a billion infomercials blasting
their messages 24/7/365, bombarding us with sales pitches
like there's no tomorrow.

However, with Google video ads and with this hypothetical
billion channel scenario, there is one big distinction that
must not be ignored. One distinction that changes everything.

All these channels will have targeted visitors who have
voluntarily and of their own free-will searched out
these channels or websites for further information. They
WANT to view the information. They MAKE the choice to
click the ads.

From a marketing perspective, this makes all the difference
in the world. A targeted prospect is in the right mindset
to hear your sales pitch. A targeted prospect is much more
likely to buy your product or service. A targeted prospect
will have a much more positive effect on your bottom line.

As with any form of marketing, it is the effective methods
or techniques that get readily adapted by competitive
businesses staying one step ahead of the mainstream. Whether
it is using audio or video ads on their websites, savvy
online marketers will explore and exploit any new medium
very quickly. Google's video ads may prove extremely
lucrative for those marketers.

Seeing The Big Picture

On a larger scale, video ads, infomercials or webfomercials
may also help in turning the web into a billion channel universe
where any subject imaginable or even unimaginable are offered up
for your viewing pleasure. Depending on your feelings this
may be: an obscene commercialization of the web, a marketer's
paradise, or a shopper's dream come true. Take your pick.

Regardless of these differing viewpoints - marketers, small
business owners, and ordinary webmasters should realize
that the introduction of video to their sites does offer
many marketing opportunities that can't be ignored.
It is one more powerful marketing tool they can use to
increase sales and raise conversion rates. Proceed without
video at your own risk.

Get ready for the Billion Channel Internet and could you
please pass the Google remote.

o Free Brad Callen's 86 page ebook on Google Adwords

Brad Callen, in my biased opinion is one of the best
Internet Marketers on the web - he knows his stuff
and then some. I have stated many times that his
SEO Elite and his SEO methods really put my first
site (www.bizwaremagic.com) into the profit-zone.

It really didn't take off until I used all of Brad's
tactics. For that reason I still recommend Seo Elite
when ever Brad's name comes up.

And don't get me started on Keyword Elite... it is
my favorite marketing tool - it is priceless. I use
it everyday. I would be lost without it. My online
marketing would be lost without it.

Now Brad has released an 86 page ebook on Google Adwords
called "Adwords Made Easy". And he's giving it away
for Fr'ee. Why? Because he's using one of Internet
Marketing most effective ways of marketing.

He's giving away valuable information to pre-sell
you on the idea of buying his Keyword Elite (as if
he needs to!). The more you understand the real
marketing techniques, the better you will be able
to market your own products or sites.

You can download a copy here:

Brad Callen's Google Adsense Made Easy

You might have to copy that link and paste it into
your browser to get it to work. Just download the
PDF ebook to your favorite folder or desktop.

It is a very informative ebook on how to set-up and use
Google Adwords and Pay-Per-Click advertising.

o Turbo MEGA Event is Coming! How to get it free.

John Delavera is going to release a BIG SUPER TURBO

Big he means something like Godzilla on Steroids... :)

- Remember that date July 26, 2006 and...

list asap. If you do, then you can be 1 of the 7 lucky
people who will win this package and get access to
the members' area absolutely fr/ee.

private label rights to his scripts, wholesale memberships
you can sell, NEW products for your use and a MEGA collection
of CDs if you act fast. More soon!

o Selling Keywords - Just Keeping You Informed

I don't recommend this foolishness! But it is a valid
marketing practice. You're basically buying keywords
for your site - which is always a good idea.

Just be careful of link farms and the nature of the
neighborhood of the site where your buy your links.

But in general the more targeted keyword links pointing
to your site the better you will do in your marketing.

Remember the silly Pixel ads sites last year - where
you bought a small pixel ad on a popular site - linking
back to your site. Again not a bad practice if you
have thoroughly checked out the host site in question...
many webmasters cleaned up and made a good penny with
this silliness...

Now there is something called Keyword Ads... same
idea but you buy keyword ads instead of an image or
logo... from an SEO perspective this is a much
better way to waste your money. You are buying
keyword links to your site - a very good practice
if you have checked out the host site and know the
PR ranking and level of traffic on that page.

If you're still interested in finding out more
or even setting up your own Keyword Ad site
go here:

Keyword Ads

I don't recommend this foolishness, but some
people will clean up selling these keyword
targeted links. Come to think of it - it is
Internet Marketing in a nutshell. But proceed
with caution... Here there be monsters!

10 Ways To Extend The Reach Of Your Site
Copyright © 2005 Titus Hoskins

Successful websites extend their reach far and wide! They
build links, connections, partnerships, or use whatever means
they can to extend the reach of their sites. By extending
their reach, these websites create greater exposure,
bringing in more targeted traffic, leads and sales.

You should do the same with your site. It will greatly
increase the importance of your site - boosting name
recognition and increasing your site's visibility.

Lets look at a real life comparison, ever build a large
patio or outdoor deck onto your house and suddenly realize
you have not only doubled the floor plan but you have also
changed the very nature of the house itself. Or you build
a gazebo or a guest house on your property... and suddenly
you and your visitors have a different view or opinion of
your property. In fact, you have expanded the reach of your
property by building these extensions.

Think of your website in the same light - by building simple
extensions you can change how your site is viewed and judged
by others; resulting in many positive benefits. Little things
that are so simple to do, yet it can have far reaching
implications for your site. You can, in fact, extend the
reach of your site to all corners of the globe.

Here are some of the best techniques for extending the
reach of your site, some of these are very simple, some a
little more complex:

Article Writing

Get one way targeted links placed all over the web by writing
simple 'how to' articles on the topic or theme of your site.
Extend the reach of your site by simply including your live
links in the author's resource box at the end of your articles.
Simple and very easy to do - just try it!

Viral Desktop Applications

You can extend the reach of your site by placing links directly
onto the desktops of your visitors by offering them simple
desktop applications like wallpaper, software programs, or
ecalendars, like the DATEwise desktop eCalendar (see below).
These are great for building brand recognition.

Old Fashion Link Building

Finding related websites and asking for reciprocal links
is still one of the best ways to extend your site. Takes a
bit of hard work but it pays off big time. And don't forget
about testimonials, simple little recommendations about a
site or product, these can be great link building opportunities.

Bookmarks

Make sure you have a bookmark link on all your pages.
You might also want to make a favicon - small logo that goes
with your bookmarks. And subtly ask those who bookmark your site
to place a shortcut on their desktops.

Ezine or Newsletter

You can reach and keep reaching your site's visitors by
building your own opt-in list newsletter or ezine. Broaden
the scope of your site by offering diverse information in
these publications.

Viral eBooks and Reports

These can be simple 'how-to' ebooks on topics related to
your site. Include links to your website and build name
recognition as well as tageted traffic.

Forum Posting

Becoming a regular poster on all the online forums will
give your site greater exposure and build site or brand
recognition. More importantly, if you offer helpful and
well informed information your site will acquire a resident
expert - you!

Off-line Advertising

Placing your site's logo or URL in off-line places, billboards,
t-shirts, caps, but try to resist the latest trend - putting
URLs on body parts! Off-line exposure will greatly extend
the reach of your site.

Burning CDs

Burning your best programs or information on CDs, DVDs or disks
and distributing these around to all interested parties
will create more recognition. Great for reaching non-online
computer users.

RSS Feeds and Blogs

This may prove to be the granddaddy of ways to extend your
site. The original name for RSS stood for 'Rich Site Summary'
- you make a summary of your website and syndicate it to all
interested parties. Other webmasters will take your syndicated
RSS feeds and place them on their sites. You create mini
satellite sites of your content all over the web!

In addition, as your site expands and grows, other
opportunities will present themselves... in traditional
media such as TV, Radio and Print advertising. Starting
an affiliate program for your site is another option you
may want to consider. An affiliate program can greatly
expand the reach of your site. So too, will starting
mirror sites in different languages or countries.

As you can plainly see, there are countless ways to
extend the reach of your site. However, just trying a
few of these will boost your site's creditability and
visibility, bringing in more targeted leads and traffic.
So it's your move, don't just let your site sit there,
start implementing some of what you're just read.

The whole world is waiting...

o Instant Adsense Templates

Joel has a new Adsense product coming out in a few days,
called 'Instant Adsense Templates' - it's a comprehensive
Adsense Templates package.

As an affiliate of Joel's - I had got a chance to preview
the product, even try a few of the templates - this is a
highly professional quality product.

I have a lot of sites on the web, including two sites on
Internet marketing and Internet marketing tools - over
the years I have examined 1000's of marketing/info products/
software. I know a winner when I see one.

Instant Adsense Templates

Keep in mind, I am promoting this product but I can
promote/sell any product - I only promote what I believe
to be the best products. Otherwise, why bother with all this.
Promoting quality products will increase the usefulness of
my marketing sites.

Joel's Adsense Templates package is one of the best I have seen.

This is a comprehensive sitebuilding package with 100 templates,
including 15 WordPress themes, 20 XSitePro Templates, 8 Blogger
Templates, 2 phpBB forum skins, plus 50 niche templates... all
these templates come programmed with all the Adsense codes
plugged in - all you have to do is add your Adsense ID.

Perfect solution for anyone wishing to build an Adsense income.

But the real value in this product and worth 10 times the
asking price is all that knowledge from the World's Top Adsense
Expert. That's what makes this package so valuable - Joel's
knowledge/experiences of how to earn from Adsense.

How to max out those earnings with the best layout/design
features on your sites.

This stuff works!

Recently, I went in and took a close look at some of Joel's
sites and examined how he was actually using the Adsense code
on his sites. You can also do this - just google Joel Comm.

Then I took what I learnt and applied just a few chances
to my own pages...

I increase my earnings by one third! That's an instant
30% jump in my Google Adsense income.

Joel knows his stuff, it's just as simple as that. He knows
how to get the most out of Google Adsense. And now he's passing
along a lot of what he knows in these Instant Adsense
Templates...

How to Use Simple Tag and Ping Marketing Techniques
(To Boost Your Site's Ranking, Traffic and Sales)
© 2006 Titus Hoskins.

If you're just heard the phrase 'Tag and Ping' and scratching
your head in puzzlement - this article may be worth your time.
Not that Tag and Ping is some magic marketing formula that
will deliver untold riches. It won't.

It is just one more marketing tool professional online marketers
are using to give their site or sites a competitive edge over
their competition. It will help put your site on the Internet
map and if done right, Tag and Ping will deliver plenty of
very targeted traffic to your sales pages. It will boost
your rankings and increase your sales.

Tag and Ping is one of those simple, yet relatively unknown
marketing techniques savvy Internet Marketers have been using
and trying to keep quiet for years. To truly understand how Tag
and Ping works, you will have to know some basic background
information on keywords, blogging, tags, and how all these
can work in sync to deliver traffic, links and sales to
your site.

What are Blogs?

Most web users will know a blog is an online journal where
bloggers post their daily or hourly entries (their opinions,
views, info, links) on any subject that interests them. The
most popular blogging systems are Blogger.com (owned by Google)
Bloglines (owned by Ask Jeeves), LiveJournal, and many
professional marketers use the free WordPress software which
they can host on their own websites.

Each blog has its own RSS feed - RSS stand for Really Simple
Syndication
although its original acronym stood for Rich Site
Summary. These RSS feeds broadcasts the information in the blog
posts to all concerned parties - those who have subscribed and
use an RSS reader or aggregator. Or more commonly, subscribers
use the FireFox browser, Google Desktop, or MyYahoo to access
their favorite RSS feeds. The next version of Windows will have
RSS embedded into its operating system.

What are Tags?

Tags are really another name for keywords. Most surfers
will know keywords are the exact words Internet users type
into search engines to find what they're looking on the world
wide web. Tags work in the same way and are a form of social
bookmarking, a way of classifying and accessing all that content
in all those countless blogs.

Many major blogging directories such as Technorati use tags to
serve up the information to its patrons. One simple technique
to create a tag in Technocrati:

<*a href="http://technorati.com/tag/Laptops" rel="tag">Laptops<*/a>
(remove asterisks in actual code)

Or if your blogging software supports categories; this will
be recognized by Technorati as a tag.

What the heck is a Ping?

A ping is a simple way to notify the different search engines
and let them know that your blog has been updated. You call
up or ping your
blog post.

You bookmark or place an entry in any one of the countless
blogging sites such as Technorati, Furl, del.icio.us,
Blinklist, Flickr --- you go to these sites and click your
blog or tag to inform them you have updated your blog.
Many blogging systems will automatically ping your blog
updates.

Or you can do this manually, for example Technorati's ping
form is here: http://www.technorati.com/ping

Simple Way to Ping

If this is still confusing to you, one simple way to ping your
tags/blogs is to use a site like: http://pingomatic.com/

and it will automatically ping your blog in many of the most
popular blogging services.

Enter The Online Professional Marketers and It All Hits the Fan

Of course, online marketers have long discovered that the whole
blogging system - blogs, rss, tags, pinging - is an excellent
marketing vehicle. One great marketing system delivering
targeted traffic to their products and services.

It really is a corruption or commercialization of blogging
and this surely wasn't the idea the original designers of
blogs had in mind. But the whole blogging system is
so lucrative, many professional marketers (the author is
pleading the fifth!) are using blogging systems like WordPress
to create mainly marketing sites that may have little
resemblance to a real blog. It just uses the backbone
structure of blogs, RSS, Tags to give their sites a slight
competitive edge in a very competitive world.

As we saw with the 'comment spam' there is a great
likelihood that Tag and Ping will be misused and further
antagonize the blogging purists. So if you are going to use
Tag and Ping make sure you're creating valuable, usable
content - then most sites will want to link to your site
anyway. Content is still king no matter what tricks the
professional marketers want to use. Always will be!

Using a Simple Tag and Ping Marketing Technique With Technorati

To explain further the whole idea of Tag and Ping. Lets just
walk through a marketing system you can quickly create using
Technorati - one of the most popular blogging services.

First, sign your blog up with Technorati. This is quite a
simple procedure. Just upload a photo, doesn't have to be of
you - your site's logo will do. Register your profile with
your 20 or so tags relating to your blog. Make sure these
are keywords you're marketing with your blog. Then you have to
place the Technorati code on your blog for a link back.

Next, you must understand that Technorati creates a landing page
for each tag in their system. This page is made up of
four parts:

- Flickr Photos

- Recent blog posts tagged with that keyword or phrase

- Who’s Blogging About sidebar which links to any profiles of
blogs that those same keywords or phrase in their profile

- Links from Furl for the same tag

So to take full advantage and to use this marketing technique
you have to sign up with both Flickr and Furl. Your aim is to
get your links in all four spots on this Technorati landing page
for your tag or keyword.

When signing up for Flickr, many marketers use their site's name
for their Flickr username - just use a dash instead of a dot in
your site's url. You can use a photo of the product they're
promoting to get a link from Flickr in the top spot on the
landing page. Pick your tags and description for the product.

Set up a Furl account and download the Toolbar - bookmark a few
sites to get the hang of how its done.

Now You're Really To Put Everything Together To Tag and Ping

1- You can start with the Flickr photos at top of the Technorati
page.

Just post a photo or cover image into your Flickr account,
making sure you tag it and use a catchy headline in your
description. Link it to your landing or affiliate page url.
Example:

<*a href="http://www.marketingtoolguide.com">Don't buy another
marketing tool until your check out this site.<*/a>

2 - Next, make the first of your blog posts on your particular
subject or product to your blog, making sure you tag it with
your keywords and then ping Technorati. Make all your posts
good content, reviews, product information or free downloads.
