I don't believe even Google would argue BACKLINKS is the most important ranking factor, but what comes next? After you have quality backlinks related to the theme of your site or blog in place - what's the next most important ranking factor you should have set-up?

Some SEO experts will dispute this point and say there are whole combinations of ranking factors you must get right to land on the first page in Google and stay there. They could be right, for Google is on record as saying there are over 200 ranking factors!
