5 Major Benefits Of List Building

List building has long been a solid marketing strategy but it is only since the introduction of computers and the Internet, that we have really seen its true effectiveness and power. With the advent of computers and the web, we can now use total automation to build your list 24/7, 365 days of the year. And it doesn't stop there, you can not only grow your list, but you can make follow-up emails to your subscribers and prospects - all on autopilot via an autoresponder.

Plus, the web gives us many more opportunities to build your list with social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace... which makes building your list of contacts much more easier than it was in the past. You also have the opportunity for much more cooperative list building, with websites acting in collaboration with each other to grow their lists.

However, for those who have not build a large responsive list and seen its effectiveness, maybe it would be helpful to list the major benefits. So with this idea in mind, here are 5 major benefits of list building:

1. More Sales - If you build your list of potential customers, you will make more sales. Mainly because once someone joins your list, you can continue to market to these prospects for months, even years into the future. Many marketers also place those customers who have bought from them before, on a special list since chances are great they will make more purchases.

2. More Repeat Customers - This leads us to our second advantage, you will get more repeat buyers, especially if you treat your list with respect and courtesy. These repeat customers can be the backbone of any business, producing sales time and again. Obviously, having these repeat customers on your list will make a big difference to your bottom line.

3. More Traffic - When someone visits your site or store, they are there for a few minutes and then they are gone - usually for good. But if they join your list or give you their contact information, you can do follow-up marketing, drawing these people back countless times. This will give you more traffic to your site or return customers to your store or business.

4. More Targeted Marketing - Obviously when someone joins your list, it is a real indication that they are interested in your products or services. In other words, your marketing will be much more targeted when you use a list. These prospects want more information from you and have shown an interest in purchasing what you have to offer. Targeting your marketing to the right demographic and customer, will also significantly benefit your bottom line.

5. More Cooperation & Teamwork - Often, if you think of your list more as a community than just prospects or numbers, you can build good relationships with your subscribers. This can create a sense of teamwork and cooperation where all parties benefit in the long run. You can also gain valuable information from your list in the form of feedback and surveys. Your list can also be a great source for finding new products and testing your web content to discover which performs the best.

As you can see from the advantages and benefits noted above, list building can be a great marketing strategy for anyone with a site or business. Automatically grow your list of contacts and customers and you will reap the rewards. You will also discover the true meaning behind the popular saying, "The money is in the list."

Google Page Speed Tester - Improve Your Site and Rankings

Over the years, I have found it is best to give Google what
Google wants. This is one simple SEO rule that will never change!

The Panda (Content Farm) Update hit many sites which depend
upon article marketing really hard. Traffic from article sites
are down... this is/was extremely targeted traffic flowing first
from Google, thru the article directories and then to your site.

A lot of that traffic is no longer flowing... many sites like
Ezinearticles have done a major overhaul of their homepage
and many other pages on their site.

One thing Google is speaking out about is Site Speed/Load times...
the faster the better because then Google users and searchers have
a much better experience if your page loads fast. Giving quality
results is Google's modus operandi.

Besides having a fast loading page is in your best interest,
regardless of Google or your Google rankings.

So here is the Google Page Speed Tester.

If you want to find out more about this issue and how you can
